Terms of Service
Last updated: March 21, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SonetHub ("the Service"), operated by SonetHub ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
SonetHub is an AI-powered social media management platform that allows users to create, schedule, publish, and analyze social media content across multiple platforms including Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, TikTok Business, Threads, YouTube, Pinterest, and Bluesky. The Service includes AI-powered content generation, social inbox and comment management, content automation, moderation rules, analytics features, and a WhatsApp command interface for managing your social media via messaging.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Social Media Account Connections
By connecting your social media accounts to SonetHub, you:
- Authorize us to access your accounts via their official APIs to provide our services, including publishing content, retrieving analytics, and syncing direct messages
- Confirm you have the authority to grant this access and that you own or are authorized to manage the connected accounts
- Understand that we store encrypted OAuth tokens to maintain the connection
- Acknowledge that we may periodically sync data from your connected accounts (analytics, messages) to provide our features
- Can revoke access at any time by disconnecting the account in SonetHub or by removing SonetHub from the platform's settings
5. Social Inbox and Direct Messages
- If you enable the Social Inbox feature, SonetHub will periodically sync direct messages from your connected social media accounts.
- Messages are classified using AI to help you manage your inbox (e.g., marking messages as important, spam, or general).
- If you enable auto-reply, SonetHub will automatically generate and send responses to incoming messages based on your configured rules. Auto-replies are AI-generated. Some jurisdictions require that automated messages disclose their automated nature to recipients — you are responsible for ensuring your configuration complies with applicable laws and platform messaging policies. You are responsible for the content and appropriateness of auto-replies.
- You must comply with each platform's messaging policies and not use the inbox features for spam, unsolicited outreach, or harassment.
- Third-party message data is stored securely and used solely to provide the inbox feature to you.
6. AI Features and Content
6.1 AI-Generated Content
- AI-generated content (text, images, videos, and music) is provided as suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before publishing.
- AI-generated music is instrumental only and royalty-free for your use in social media content.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, originality, or performance of AI-generated content.
- AI-generated content is licensed to you for your use, subject to any restrictions from the underlying AI provider.
6.2 AI Memory
- Our AI agent may extract and store memories about your brand voice, content preferences, and instructions to improve future interactions.
- AI memories persist across conversations until you delete them.
- You can view, manage, and delete AI memories at any time through Settings or by asking the AI agent.
6.3 AI-Generated Content Disclosure
- Some social media platforms require disclosure when content is AI-generated (AIGC). You are responsible for complying with each platform's AI content disclosure policies.
- SonetHub provides AIGC disclosure toggles where supported by the platform API (e.g., TikTok). We recommend enabling these when publishing AI-generated content.
7. Content Automation and Comment Moderation
7.1 Consent and Authorization
By creating an automation schedule, you explicitly authorize SonetHub to generate and publish content to your connected social media accounts on your behalf, at the times and frequencies you configure. This authorization constitutes your prior consent for automated posting under each platform's terms. You may revoke this consent at any time by pausing or deleting the automation schedule.
By creating moderation rules, you authorize SonetHub to manage comments and mentions on your connected social media accounts on your behalf — for example, hiding inappropriate comments, acknowledging positive feedback, or flagging messages for your review. These actions are performed using your authenticated credentials, within each platform's API guidelines and rate limits. You may disable or delete any moderation rule at any time. Replies generated by AI are subject to the same responsibilities as DM auto-replies (Section 5).
7.2 Human Review
SonetHub provides a human-in-the-loop review option for automated content. When enabled, AI-generated posts are held in a "pending review" state and are not published until a workspace member manually approves them. We strongly recommend enabling this feature, especially when first setting up automations, to ensure all published content meets your standards and complies with platform policies.
7.3 Your Responsibilities
- Automation schedules generate and publish content on your behalf using AI, based on your configured rules, prompts, and target accounts.
- You are responsible for reviewing your automation settings and the content published by your schedules, including compliance with each platform's terms of service and community guidelines.
- When human review is disabled, automated posts are published immediately without manual approval. You accept full responsibility for content published without review.
- Automated posting must comply with each platform's rate limits and acceptable use policies. SonetHub enforces platform rate limits but cannot guarantee compliance with all platform rules.
- You must ensure that automated content is appropriate for your audience and complies with applicable advertising and disclosure regulations.
7.4 Platform Messaging Rules
- For Facebook and Instagram, SonetHub enforces Meta's 24-hour messaging window: replies to direct messages can only be sent within 24 hours of the user's last message.
- Auto-reply features must comply with each platform's messaging policies. You are responsible for configuring auto-reply rules that are appropriate and non-spammy.
7.5 Limitations
- We reserve the right to disable automation features if we detect misuse or if they result in policy violations on connected platforms.
- SonetHub may impose limits on automation frequency to ensure compliance with platform policies.
8. Workspaces and Collaboration
- Workspace owners can invite members and assign roles (admin, editor, viewer) that determine access levels.
- Workspace members with appropriate roles may access shared social accounts, posts, analytics, inbox data, and automation schedules within the workspace.
- Workspace owners are responsible for managing member access and ensuring members comply with these Terms.
- When a workspace member is removed, their access to workspace data is immediately revoked.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to post spam, misleading content, or content that violates any platform's terms of service or community guidelines
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, platform restrictions, or usage limits
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to violate any applicable laws
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized users
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use the AI features to generate content that is harmful, deceptive, defamatory, or violates any laws or third-party rights
- Use automation features to send unsolicited messages or spam
- Access or attempt to access other users' data without authorization
- Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service or interfere with other users
10. Platform Compliance
SonetHub accesses social media platforms through their official APIs and complies with their developer terms and policies. However, you are responsible for ensuring your use of SonetHub complies with each platform's:
- Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
- API Terms of Use and Developer Policies
- Content policies and advertising standards
- AI-generated content disclosure requirements
- Messaging and automation policies
We are not liable for account suspensions, restrictions, or penalties imposed by third-party platforms as a result of your use of SonetHub.
11. Content Ownership
- You retain ownership of all content you create and publish through SonetHub.
- AI-generated content created through our platform is licensed to you for your use.
- You are solely responsible for all content you publish to social media platforms, whether created manually or with AI assistance.
- We do not claim ownership over your content, brand information, or social media data.
- You grant SonetHub a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content as necessary to provide the Service.
12. Subscription and Billing
- Free accounts have limited features and usage caps as described on our pricing page.
- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. Payment processing is subject to Stripe's Terms of Service.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time; access to paid features continues until the end of the billing period.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support for refund requests.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
12.1 Storage Limits
Media uploads (images, videos, audio) are subject to a maximum file size of 100MB per file. We reserve the right to impose per-account or per-workspace storage quotas in the future, with 30 days' notice to existing users. If quotas are introduced, we will provide tools to manage and export your media files.
12.2 Credits and Pricing Adjustments
- SonetHub uses a unified credit system ("SonetHub Credits"). AI messages and media generation operations consume credits from a single monthly pool.
- Credit costs per operation (e.g., AI messages, image generation, video generation) are published on our pricing page and may be adjusted with 30 days' notice.
- Purchased credit packs ("bonus credits") do not expire and are consumed before monthly included credits.
- Annual subscribers lock in their subscription price for the duration of their annual term. Credit costs per operation may change during the term.
- We may adjust the number of credits included in each plan tier, credit pack pricing, or operation costs as underlying AI model costs evolve. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days in advance.
12.3 Feedback
You may submit feature requests and bug reports through the Feedback page or AI agent. By submitting feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use, implement, and share your feedback without compensation. Feedback submissions are not confidential.
13. API Access
Business plan subscribers may access SonetHub features via our API. API usage is subject to these Terms and any additional API-specific terms we may publish. We reserve the right to impose rate limits, revoke API access for misuse, and modify the API with reasonable notice.
14. Service Availability and Security
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control, including social media platform API outages. We will notify users of planned maintenance when possible.
In the event of a security incident that affects your personal data, we will notify affected users and the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, as required by the GDPR. Notification will include the nature of the breach, the data involved, and the measures taken to address it.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SonetHub, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) content you publish through the Service; (c) your violation of these Terms; (d) your violation of any third-party platform's terms or policies; or (e) your violation of any applicable law.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SonetHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
17. Termination
- You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice when feasible.
- Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Sections regarding content ownership, indemnification, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.
18. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
19. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain and the European Union. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be submitted to the courts of Madrid, Spain, without prejudice to your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence within the EU.
20. WhatsApp Command Interface
20.1 Eligibility
WhatsApp access is available to users on Pro or Business plans only. Free plan users are not eligible to connect WhatsApp.
20.2 Rate Limits
WhatsApp commands are subject to a rate limit of 30 commands per hour per user. Commands exceeding this limit will be rejected. We reserve the right to adjust rate limits to ensure platform stability and compliance with Meta's policies.
20.3 Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for all content and actions initiated through WhatsApp commands, including posts published, messages sent, and account changes made. WhatsApp commands are processed by our AI agent and execute real actions on your connected social media accounts. Review the results of your commands to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
20.4 Platform Policies
WhatsApp connectivity is provided through the WhatsApp Cloud API (Meta Business Platform). Your use of WhatsApp with SonetHub is subject to WhatsApp's Terms of Service, WhatsApp's Privacy Policy, and WhatsApp's Business Policy. We are not responsible for any restrictions or actions taken by Meta/WhatsApp on your phone number or account as a result of your usage.
