Getting Started

Create Your Account

Head to sonethub.com and click Get Started. Sign up with your email or use Google/GitHub authentication. No credit card is required — you'll start on the Free plan with 3 social accounts, 50 Agent messages, and 20 media credits per month.

Onboarding

After signing up, you'll be guided through a quick setup wizard:

1. Welcome — A brief introduction to SonetHub
2. Connect Account — Link at least one social platform (you can skip and do this later)
3. Teach AI Your Brand — Upload your logo, brand guidelines, or website link so the AI learns your brand voice and style (optional — you can always do this later in Settings > Brand Voice)
4. Create First Post — Draft a quick post to get started (optional)
5. Done — You're all set! Head to your dashboard

The onboarding only appears once. If you skip any steps, you can always connect accounts, teach the AI your brand, and create posts from the dashboard later.

Connect Your Social Accounts

Once you're in, go to Accounts in the sidebar. Click Connect Account and choose a platform:

• Instagram — Requires a Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page
• Facebook — Connects to your Facebook Pages (not personal profiles)
• X / Twitter — Any account; tweet editing requires X Premium
• LinkedIn — Personal accounts; post text, images, videos, and PDF documents
• Threads — Any account; public profiles recommended for auto-renewal
• TikTok — Any account; video and photo posts
• YouTube — Any channel; publish Shorts (vertical video ≤60s)

You'll be redirected to the platform's official authorization page to grant permissions. SonetHub never sees your password — only a secure access token that's encrypted and can be revoked at any time.

Once connected, the account appears in your list and is ready for posting, inbox, and analytics. For detailed setup instructions, platform requirements, and a full list of supported features per platform, see the Connecting Accounts guide.

Dashboard Overview

Your dashboard gives you a quick snapshot of everything:

• Home — Recent activity, quick stats, and upcoming scheduled posts
• Chat — Talk to the AI assistant to create content, check analytics, or manage your accounts
• Compose — Write and format posts for multiple platforms at once
• Calendar — Visual calendar of scheduled and published posts
• Posts — Browse, filter, and manage all your drafts, scheduled, and published posts
• Explore — Search for social media content and look up profiles across platforms
• Inbox — Read and reply to DMs across all connected platforms
• Mentions — Monitor @mentions and comments on your posts across platforms (Creator+)
• Analytics — Track engagement, reach, and follower growth
• Automation — Set up recurring AI-powered content schedules
• Feedback — Submit feature requests or bug reports directly to the SonetHub team
• Settings — Manage notifications, preferences, and email digests

Explore & Discover

The Explore page lets you search for social media content and look up profiles across your connected platforms. Use it to:

• Search by keyword — Find posts about specific topics on Threads, Instagram, or X/Twitter
• Look up profiles — Search for users by username to see their bio, follower count, and verification status

This is useful for competitor research, finding trending content, and discovering new accounts to engage with. You can also search from the AI assistant — ask "search Threads for posts about AI marketing."

Next Steps

The fastest way to get started is to open Chat and tell the AI assistant what you'd like to post. It can generate content, adapt it for each platform, add images, and schedule it — all through natural conversation.
