Install the Mobile App

Install SonetHub on your iPhone or Android device for full-screen access, push notifications, and a one-tap home-screen icon.

SonetHub runs as an installable web app — no App Store download, no separate update cycle. Install it once and it stays in sync with the website automatically. Every change ships to your installed app on the next launch, with zero work on your end.

What you get when you install

  • Full-screen experience — no browser address bar, no tabs.
  • Home-screen icon — launch SonetHub like any native app.
  • Push notifications — get alerts on your phone when posts publish, fail, need review, or new DMs arrive. Opt-in from Settings after installing.
  • Splash screen with the SonetHub brand on launch.
  • Offline awareness — the app tells you clearly when your connection drops.

Install on Android

The fastest path. Most Android phones running Chrome, Edge, Samsung Internet, or Firefox.

  1. Open https://sonethub.com in your browser.
  2. You'll see an install prompt — either as a banner at the bottom or an install icon in the address bar (looks like a small square with an arrow). Tap it.
  3. Confirm "Install" in the system dialog.
  4. SonetHub appears on your home screen with the brand icon.

Don't see the prompt? Open the browser menu (three dots, top-right) and tap "Install app" or "Add to Home screen".

Install on iPhone or iPad

Apple gates app installation to the Safari Share menu — it's two extra taps but works the same way.

  1. Open https://sonethub.com in Safari (Chrome and Firefox on iOS can't install web apps — Apple's restriction).
  2. Tap the Share button in Safari's toolbar — the icon is a square with an arrow pointing up out of it (usually at the bottom on iPhone, top on iPad).
  3. Scroll down in the Share sheet and tap "Add to Home Screen".
  4. Tap "Add" in the top-right to confirm.
  5. SonetHub appears on your home screen with the brand icon.

Enable push notifications

After installing:

  1. Launch SonetHub from your home-screen icon.
  2. Go to Settings → Notifications.
  3. Tap "Enable push" in the Push notifications card.
  4. Grant the permission when your phone asks.
  5. Tap "Send test notification" to confirm it works.

You'll get push notifications for:

  • Post published — your scheduled post went live.
  • Post failed — a publish attempt failed and needs your attention.
  • Post awaiting review — an automation created a post that needs your approval before publishing.
  • New direct messages — important DMs across your connected accounts.

You can disable push at any time from the same Settings card. Each event type follows your existing email/WhatsApp notification preferences — disabling one channel doesn't affect the others.

iOS-specific note

On iPhone and iPad, push notifications only work after you've installed SonetHub to your home screen. Apple requires this — opening SonetHub in regular Safari and tapping "Enable push" silently fails. If the Settings card shows "Add to Home Screen first" instead of "Enable push", install the app first using the steps above.

Updating the app

You don't need to do anything. Every change we ship to the website is automatically picked up by your installed app on the next launch. No manual updates, no App Store reviews waiting, no version mismatches.

Uninstalling

Android: long-press the home-screen icon → "Uninstall" or "Remove". iOS: long-press the icon → "Remove App" → "Delete from Home Screen".

This removes the app and any push subscriptions tied to that device. Your SonetHub account, posts, and data are unaffected — they live in your account, not the app.
